Dear Swim Families,

Congratulations to all our swimmers on a great meet against Manheim last night! You are receiving the Week 3 email early as I will be out of town next week. Please direct any questions this week to other members of the parent board whose contact info can be found on the website.

Here is what’s coming up in week 3.

Practice Schedule

• Monday - Thursday, Ages 11 & over: 8:45-10:00 AM
• Monday - Thursday, Ages 5-10: 10:00-11:00 AM
• Friday- FUN FRIDAY- ALL SWIMMERS 10:00 AM-11:00 AM

Meet Schedule

• Tuesday- Away meet against Denver -arrival 5:15 PM

2024 Lancaster Cup- Sunday June 23rd 

LAC has decided not to charge admission to this event. Good luck to all our swimmers participating in the Lancaster Cup on Sunday!

2024 Skyline Charity Cup-Tuesday, July 2

Gates Open: 5 PM Warm-ups: TBA Meet Start: 6 PM

The Skyline Charity Cup meet is made up of 44 events, all 25s, and this year’s charities are the John Apple Swim Fund and Touchstone Foundation. Alumni/parents have two opportunities to swim – a relay in the middle or a 25 freestyle at the end of the night before the annual “banana boat” race.

Please sign up your swimmers and parents by June 24th. swim_meets

Order of Events: All races are 25s

• Crescendo Freestyle Relay (no more than 5 entries per team) Breaststroke
• Backstroke
• Alumni/Parent Relay
• Butterfly Freestyle Banana Boat * Open swimmers may not swim both freestyle and banana boat
• Alumni/Parent Freestyle

Entry Fee: $4/individual events $12/relays Swimmers are limited to 4 events

Awards

Medals: 1-3rd Individual and Relays Ribbons: 4th-8th place Individual and Relays

Admissions

$5 per adult (over the age of 17)
Bring an item from the list below and receive a free raffle ticket.

Timers

Bent Creek is asked to provide 2 timers for each half, please sign up  each half. Timers can receive free admission or they can choose to donate their admission to charity by paying upon arrival.

Gift Basket Raffle

All teams are asked to bring gift baskets to be included in our raffle. All the proceeds from the raffle and a portion of the admission fee are donated to the charities. If you would like to contribute to our team’s raffle basket, please don’t forget to Venmo Ashley Conrad: @Ashley-Conrad-83

Team Pictures

If your swimmer was not able to be at picture day today, the photographer is able to make up photos next Friday June 28^th. Other pictures can be made up by contacting the photographer directly and making an appointment at his studio.
