2024 LSSL CHAMPIONSHIP MEET

FRIDAY, JULY 26, 2024 (relays)

SATURDAY, JULY 27, 2024 (individuals)

     The LSSL Championship meet will culminate the 2024 LSSL summer swim season by providing an opportunity to showcase individual and team talents on a championship level. This meet is open to all swimmers who have qualified based on the times posted by the league. Individuals are limited to 3 individual events and 1 relay or 2 individual events and 2 relays.

     Swimmers will be seated and staged outside of the pool area. Spectator seating is available around the pool area on bleachers. Swimmers, coaches, and volunteers are the only individuals who will be permitted on the pool deck.

The Manheim POOL address is located at 504 E. Adele Ave, Manheim, PA 17545.

     Entrance to the pool will be through the gate located on directly across from our concession stand. Swimmers will be sitting outside and need to plan accordingly. Parking will be available for swimmers and families, coaches, and officials. Parking arrangements for swimmers and families will be communicated at a later date. Swimmers can be dropped off at the pool at the end of E. Adele Ave. Please refer to the attached map below for parking for coaches and officials.

ADMISSION

The cost of admission is $5.00 per spectator. Heat and lane assignments, as well as meet results, will be available on Meet Mobile. Printed heat sheets will NOT be available. Children under 12, accompanied by an adult, admitted free. ALL coaches should check-in at the admissions table (to receive meal vouchers, programs, etc.).

RULES

There will be NO pictures or videos permitted from either end of the pool. Pictures and videos are permitted on the side of the pool.

CONCESSIONS/ VENDING

A snack bar will be available for all your refreshment needs. We will also have a coffee bar and an ice cream truck available.

T-SHIRTS

T-Shirts will be available for purchase on both days by Northwest Designs. A made- to-order t-shirt vendor.

Volunteers

Each swim team must supply 3 experienced timers with watches for the meet.

Friday Session

• Warm-ups at 5:00PM
• Meet begins at 6:30PM

Saturday Session

• Warm-ups at 5:00PM
  • Warm-ups at 7:30AM
  • Meet begins at 9:00AM
  • There will be a 5 - 10-minute break after the individual backstroke events. NO SWIMMERS are permitted in the water during this break.
  • There will be NO OPEN WARMUP.

In the event of inclement weather on Friday, July 26, 2024, relays will be run in the morning on July 27, 2024 (warm-ups at 7:30AM; relay meet begins at 9:00AM). Individual events would then follow (warm-ups at 12:00PM; individual meet begins at 1:30PM).

Swimmers who have already qualified for the LSSL Championships are asked to register by July 16th.  Swimmers who qualify after the 16th will be able to register after they qualify.
